About the SACE

Return to SACE & Senior Students….

Following a three year implementation period, the first cohort of South Australian students graduated from the ‘New’ SACE in 2011. The updated SACE is the result of years of work, stemming from the SACE Review, which was established in 2004 and concluded in 2006.

The SACE Board of South Australia is an independent statutory authority of the South Australian Government and is responsible for the accreditation of subjects, the recognition of learning and the assessment of student learning that contribute to meeting the completion requirements of the SACE.
