MySchool

The MySchool website was established in 2010 as part of the Education Revolution, and has faced much controversy since its inception.

It is run by the independent Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) and is intended as a valuable online tool for communities right across Australia to understand what is happening in their local schools.

The main criticisms of the site have revolved around the possibility of creation of league tables using the data published on MySchool, but SAASSO has always maintained “the more information available to parents, the better”.
